In 2003, she received her Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo  de Manila School of Law in 2003 where she graduated with distinction  as Second Honors Silver Medal Awardee. In her undergraduate years in law school, she obtained a  ranking of second honors and was among the top  twenty (20) of her batch in her 4th year. She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2004.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree in  Business Economics (Dean's Medal Awardee) from  University of the Philippines in 1990.
