Pecabar turns 25
In 1983, Juan Ponce Enrile was going door-to-door in looking for lawyers who would share his vision and passion for the legal profession.
Luckily, he mustered enough lawyers and started assembling his law firm.
Now, 25 years after its founding, the Pecabar law firm has grown from a tiny start-up to a trusted name known as much for its legal service as its lawyers.

Over the years, Pecabar has maintained its vision and passion, even as it engaged in complex corporate disputes and high stakes litigation. In the process, Pecabar’s lawyers gained prominence and distinction. Enrile himself was later elected and, to this day, remains a senator of the Republic of the Philippines.
Hard to believe, but it was 25 years ago when Enrile, along with his friends, founded the law firm. Back then, he was an ambitious lawyer simply glad to be in the company of good friends. It is different now: His jet-black hair is flecked with gray, and his eyes surrounded by wrinkles.
Some things though never change. Wearing an old jacket, the Senator is as intense as ever. These days, he has his eyes trained on Pecabar’s new lawyers, imparting upon them the vision and passion that guided the firm in its first 25 years, the very same vision and passion that will take the firm to another 25 years in the industry.
He shall roll the dice, and, hopefully, reach 25 again.
